This edition of the Icons of Wales range takes us on a journey through the time of Welsh legends, celebrating Rhiannon’s. Rhiannon means “great queen” in Welsh, and refers to a female character with multiple magical powers. Its legend is told in the Mabinogi, an 11th century work that brings together Welsh legends. A nod from Penderyn to her Welsh roots and her women’s distillation team. This single malt is derived from the Penderyn distillate, 100% malted barley distilled in a Faraday still, symbol of the distillery. An expression aged in ex-cass by Sherry Oloroso, then matured in old barrels of Bordeaux Grands Crus.

Profile: Soft and balanced. Creamy caramel, red fruits and frangipane. Chocolate ganache, spices.
