New to the Penderyn distillery, Portwood is a single malt of great gluttony. Suave while conversing the subtle and fruity profile of the malts of the distillery, it aged in bourbon barrels and then stayed a few months in barrels containing port. Revealing an aromatic palette of great complexity, it expresses in turn notes of red fruits, rancio and leather. A great Welsh whisky!
