Description
This is a bottling of 10 year old Bruichladdich single malt, produced back in the days before everything on a Bruichladdich bottle was written in a sans-serif font. Breeding: Whiskies have matured a minimum of ten years in first use barrels of ex-bourbon, sherry and French wine. The whisky has not been cold filtered or colorants added. Nose: A combination of honey and grated lemon, peach, apricot and banana mixed with floral and saline notes. Mouth: Fresh sensation, malt, honey and oak stand out over lighter fruity notes. Final: Long finish for a whisky of this age, highlighting the oak and spices.
