This release from Jura has been fully matured in American white oak-ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years before being finished in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. It is characterised by a distinct balance of sweetness and a gentle touch of smoke. An interesting balance of Highland and Island whisky styles. Nose – Refined succulent tropical aromas of chocolate, walnut and citrus fruit. Palate – Flavours of honey, salted bananas and brown sugar, with a whisper of smoke.
