The inhabitants of Jura are famous for their superstitions: “Never cut peat before May”, “always form haystacks clockwise… What better way to celebrate this originality than by giving it the name of a malt? Coming from a selection of the island’s best single malts – some up to 21 years old – Superstition proudly wears the Ankh cross, dating from the Egyptian era and synonymous with luck.
There are aromas of honey and pine, while the balance between peat and non-peaty species comes from bourbon barrels. The finest whiskies, young or old (up to 21 years old) mingle in this mysterious bottle, where each drop contains a different fragrance.
